Wieneke & Wieneke, Inc. forte is readying organizations (1,400 to 14,000
employees) for structuring “what is known to work” (product and process
knowledge) for sharing, adoption, adaptation and assessment. Our clients include
automotive, on/off-highway heavy duty truck, off-highway construction
equipment, insurance and product testing companies.
We offer game-changing, knowledge-based strategies focused on four
fundamentals; communicating, learning, knowing and working. Our holistic
approach fosters communities of practice, engages cross functional areas of
practice, integrates core competency, a knowledge framework and metrics, product
and process knowledge management, enterprise learning and legacy document
Collaborating with Emergent Systems, we provide techniques and tools to leap
beyond conventional PASSIVE knowledge management to a sustainable ACTIVE
knowledge processes that engage engineers and are visible in an organization’s
processes and products or services. Passive knowledge management is document
centric and follows a “library model” in practice. An active knowledge process is
assessment centric leveraging an “inquiry-appraisal-evidence model.”
